My name is Lara Murnik. I am a senior at the University of New England, majoring in Medical Biology with a minor in Art. I plan on attending medical school after completing my undergraduate work. I am a Genetic Counseling Intern for the Cancer Risk and Prevention Clinic at the Scarborough Campus of the Maine Medical Center. I am currently the Co-Captain of the UNE Women’s Rugby team and have played on the UNE Women’s Rugby team for four years, two years participating in club rugby and two years participating in the varsity program. I also am a member of the UNE Women’s Club Ice Hockey Team and have been the Recruitment Chair for the team for the last four years.
